The club offers a range of courses for all ability levels from taster sessions for complete beginners to specialised courses for more advanced paddlers. The club also offers access to the UKCC coaching scheme (via BCU East Midlands). It is possible to join the club and enter at various positions of the paddler progression (with prior consent from the Coaching Officer).

If you are interested in obtaining a coaching qualification or taking part in any related courses, please get in touch. Please don’t let the course cost put you off; there are bursaries and other forms of support available, and the club will help you through the qualification process.

Paddle Explore course
An intermediate course for those with paddling experience that would like to progress with their choice of craft with the view of becoming coaches / Paddle Instructors / trip leaders
